Hand it to Hamilton

Eric Mangini was a 23-year-old gofer with the Cleveland Browns, fetching coffee and donuts for Bill Belichick and delivering pizzas to the reporters in the pressroom as Bobby Hamilton began his professional football career with Seattle.Today, Mangini is Hamilton’s head coach with the Jets.

Yes, some 13 years later, Hamilton is still playing in the NFL at age 36, same age as his head coach.

“Everyone talks about my age,” Hamilton said. “I don’t let that faze me. I know how old I am. I ain’t worried about it. I’m out here to work hard, have fun, and do the best I can to help the team out.”
